Sustainability is at the core of everything we do at Purex which is why we have a low carbon paw-print across the manufacturing life cycle from forest to store.

We are committed to educating Kiwi's about the importance of sustainability and so have been a sponsor of the Tread Lightly Caravan for many years.


This program, one of four provided by the Tread Lightly Charitable Trust, is a mobile classroom which travels to schools based in Auckland. The aim to inspire school students aged 5 to 12 years and their families (whanau) to make simple changes to their everyday lives that will help protect and restore the natural environment.

Through the use of fun interactive exhibits and activities, the Tread Lightly Caravan experience teaches students what they buy and eat and how they travel and use energy, has an impact on the environment.
